Concussion rehabilitation and management, orthopedic and sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, lumbar and cervical spine pathologies, and oncology rehabilitation

Ms. Gravel is the outpatient concussion coordinator for our physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology departments. She has assisted in the growth and development of Emerson's current post–concussion and baseline concussion programs. Ms. Gravel is also the project manager of the Dr. Robert C. Cantu Concussion Center's Oak Foundation grant, where she provides concussion education and baseline testing to adolescents within Massachusetts and oversees the grant’s research objectives. Ms. Gravel specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries and concussion rehabilitation with a strong manual background in treating patients with spine dysfunction following post-concussion syndrome. She is also trained in oncology rehabilitation. Ms. Gravel graduated from the University of Hartford with a master's in physical therapy and the MGH Institute of Health Professions with a doctorate in physical therapy.
