I believe that successfully treating excess weight comes down to individualizing a plan for each patient. I work directly with each patient to select the surgical option best suited to their unique set of medical conditions, personality, and lifestyle factors. My additional background in obesity medicine helps to identify hidden causes of excess weight and an ability to manage these factors as well as avoid weight regain in my patients. I use this same individualized approach to care of my reflux and hiatal hernia patients who require a detail-oriented surgeon with technical skill to achieve the best possible results.
I love what I do. I feel so gratified helping people to become who they really are once we keep weight from holding them back from all the things they want to do/discover/experience/etc in life.
